UGA opens Kim Jong-un School of Nuclear Engineering thanks to anonymous donation
The University of Georgia is taking one more step towards joining the upper echelon of engineering schools after opening the brand new, state-of-the-art Kim Jong-un School of Nuclear Engineering. The new school was built thanks to a totally anonymous donation of roughly $1 billion.
“We don’t know who could have possibly given us all this money, but the conditions for the donation were made clear and we couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to establish a world class nuke school,” said the school’s new dean Rick Perry.
Dean Perry, whose bachelor's degree in animal science from Texas A&M will undoubtedly serve him well overseeing a nuclear science program, stressed that all research and development would be towards the application of nuclear science for energy and medical purposes. He assured the press that the donation to create the school was 100% anonymous and that any and all conditions attached to the gift were well within legal standards.
In other news, the Athens City Council is considering a proposal to rename the city Pyongyathens.
Disclaimer: This is a work of satire. Obviously. Even North Korea wouldn’t invest in a nuclear engineering school at UGA.
